I recently had twin girls, weighing 4 lbs each at birth. Because of their prematurity, many baby carriers were out of the question, let alone for twins!
A friend of mine introduced me to the Moby wrap (she has twins as well) But in my many attempts with it, can't get the thing tied fast enough for both babies to not start fussing. I find that regardless of how sauve I am with it, they just aren't comfortable...there isn't much you can do, while one baby can overheat quickly....two is a whole other story! I had them wrapped to me, and within 3 or 4 minutes, we were all waaaay too hot to be safe.
Someone really needs to invent something, that is breathable, comfortable, and practical...some of these wraps/carriers are in such a position, that you wouldn't dare walk around with them on...you'd surely tip....

I really hope there is something out there...twin strollers are absolutely impossible to negotiate, and with stairs, you can't leave one at the bottom, to go get the other!

If anyone knows of anything else out there, please help!

I wish you'd leave more reviews on the absolutely fabulous carriers that don't necessarily sit in the main stream market .. but should! Brands like the Manduca Baby Carrier, Beco Gemini, Scootababy, Boba Baby Carrier and Moby Wrap, many of which come with carrier accessories just like the fleece cover by Baby Bjorn.

Good site, but shame you don't recommend brands that are great value for money, lasting from birth right through to pre-schoo.

Concern with this type of carrier is that the baby is not getting the right support - it's dangling with all its weight on the pelvic area - much better to get something that offers the baby more comfort/support for the pelvis/spine. In my opinion an Ergo, Wilkinet or wraparound sling is better.

Hi Nikki, yes its a great looking carrier and also at a good price.
You can buy from many stores, we've seen quite a good discount at babyworld.co.uk at the moment for £16.97.
Happy shopping! and thanks for the comment.
