Concern with this type of carrier is that the baby is not getting the right support – it’s dangling with all its weight on the pelvic area – much better to get something that offers the baby more comfort/support for the pelvis/spine. In my opinion an Ergo, Wilkinet or wraparound sling is better.

You can buy from many stores, we’ve seen quite a good discount at babyworld.co.uk at the moment for £16.97.

This extension is an accessory that makes the seat larger and fits adults who have wider hips or waists. It can be found for under £6 on the manufacturer’s website as well.

lovely website. the hippychick hip seat seems to be a wonderful thing to have, specially when u have a heavy baby. i would like to know where i could this for £ 6. thats sounds a bargain
