The Jolly Comfort child carrier from Vaude is at the top of the line in baby carriers but its price still remains reasonable, considering all that you are going to get out of this carrier.

Made especially for parents that like to carry their little one just about everywhere, and most often on very long treks, the Jolly Comfort has all you could ask for in safety, comfort, and durability. Children can sit in it from the time they can support their head very well on their own, about 6 months, until they are 20 kilograms, which is well into the late toddler years. It has been TUV tested to ensure that it goes above and beyond in safety standards and the tough rip stop polyester fabric not only keeps the little one safe and snug but will also stand up to anything, making sure that your baby carrier will last for all the years that you are able to use it!

The hip belt and waist belt are padded so that you will always remain in comfort as well and the child’s seat is adjustable so that baby will always ride in comfort too! There are two large pockets to hold all your odds and ends and a massive storage compartment at the bottom to hold larger items, such as changing pads or extra clothing. The top handles not only make it easy to pick up and go but are also padded, adding to the comfort and the carrier also comes with a rain/sun cover.

Many baby carrier accessories include things such as loopholes for toys and rain covers but Vaude has come out with one that will allow you to take just about anything along on your trip that you could want – even the kitchen sink!
When you know you’re going to be out for awhile, the Vaude Piggyback will allow you to place clothing, nappies, wipes, snacks, and just about anything else by simply unzipping the front and placing it in! And if this massive space still isn’t enough room for you, one of the zippers allows for full volume extension, to make the bag even bigger! And this huge storage option can easily fit onto any Vaude child carrier.

Although you can put anything inside of it, it does look really massive to carry around and added to the additional weight of the child and the carrier itself, it could become a real pain to drag around. And for £30.00, it’s an accessory that will come at a price.

The Vaude Swing IV

The Vaude Swing IV is a backpack-style baby carrier that fits the child nicely between two padded sections. The section that the baby faces is against the parent’s back however, the padded insert provides more stability for both parent and child. The wrap-around style padding in the very back of the carrier provides leg support for the child as well as arm holes that can stretch and move with the child and minimize restraint. The child seat portion can also be adjusted from outside, allowing you to first place baby in the seat and then secure it so that it is snug instead of guessing which size will fit your child.

This carrier is without a doubt a great carrier for quality and comfort but the manufacturer’s themselves recommend using the head support and the sun/rain shade for optimal use – both of course are sold separately.
