This baby carrier is designed to allow you to carry baby around with you while they stay safe and snug. The extra padding throughout the entire carrier makes it more comfortable for baby to cosy up in and the thick, cushioned shoulder straps make it easy for parent to tote the baby around, with the added bonus of having the waist strap also padded makes the even weight distribution even better! All of the straps on the carrier are fully adjustable and the convenient backpack style not only looks great but also makes it a carrier that is a huge hit for both mums and dads.

There is only one small ring for small toys and keys to be clipped to, and a small pocket on the front that may hold a binkie but, not much more. It’s probably better for longer walks than other carriers of the same type simply because the padding makes it much more comfortable for everyone. However, there’s not a lot of storage compartments so if you’ll be gone for too long, you may also have to haul around a nappie bag! The Kipling Heartbeat Bis Baby Carrier comes in either black or charcoal and is available for £58.00

The Close Baby Carrier, available from Little Possums, is a carrier that has rings at the side for easy adjustment, just as a ring sling does but also has the wonderful features of a wraparound sling so that it’s easy to fit and wear and holds baby nice and snug and as the name suggests, close to the parent. The fabric is pure organic cotton and is so stretchable that it can fit toddlers up to 32 pounds or can be wrapped tightly enough to keep a newborn safe and secure. The parent has many positions to choose from when carrying baby as well including the cradle hold, which is most suitable for newborns, as well as carrying them in front, either inward or outward facing. Because the sling is made from two pieces of fabric that criss-cross in the front and back, the baby’s weight is evenly distributed so that it does not strain the shoulders or back.

This sling is most suitable for short walks or while out doing errands but may not be right for parents who want to take their child on longer or more ardurous journeys, such as on hikes. And you will have your choice of color with this sling as it comes in charcoal, natural, rouge, pistachio, olive and chocolate; but you will not have your choice of size as it comes in a one size fits all variety. The Close Baby Carrier does have a good price point considering that it can be used for 2 or 3 years and is available for £52.00
